OF EVENTS Town
Board Meetings
The Ford Town Board will meet on
the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. at the Ford Town
Hall located at 3502 Mahogany Street, for
its regularly scheduled meetings unless posted otherwise at the
Town Hall. Ford Township Planning Commission members may be attending
these meetings to assist in the process of township business.
Postings will be placed at the Ford Town Hall
and the Town of Ford website. Public notices will be published
in the Kanabec County Times as necessary.
The public is invited to attend any and all meetings.

Planning Commission Meetings
The Ford Township Planning commission will meet
on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm. at the Ford Town
Hall for its regularly scheduled meetings unless posted otherwise
at the Town Hall. Ford Town Board members may be attending these
meetings to assist in the process of township business.

will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Ford Town
Hall.
Annual Ford Get Together
This years Annual Ford Get Togather will be,
Saturday, August 14, 2010-- 12:00 noon
This annual gathering of current and past residents
as well as any landowners of the Town of Ford has grown to be
a much anticipated opportunity to meet and greet old and new friends.
We eat promptly at 12 noon but come early and bring a dish to
share. Beverage, plates and utensils are all provided. The afternoon
is reserved for visiting and perhaps checking out the dessert
table at least one more time! Food, fun and conversation –
that is what it is all about!

ELECTION RESULTS
Annual Election: November 4th 2008
The township election was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2008. The Town Board has certified the following election results.
Sarah Berry received 76 votes, Misty Roeschlein Received 1 vote, James Andrews received 1 vote, 20 ballots were unmarked. Sarah Berry was declared elected as Clerk.
Ken Von Bank received 18 votes, Jim Cole received 2 votes, John Berry Received 1 vote, Don Elfstrom received 1 vote, Kim Smith received 1 vote, Gabriel Anderson received 1 vote, Kathy Von Bank received 1 vote, Wayne Anderson received 1 vote, Don’t care received 1 vote, Misty Roeschlein received 1 vote, Doug Bassett received 3 votes, Katie Kerr received 2 votes, Jim Andrews received 2 votes, 63 ballots were unmarked. Ken Von Bank was declared elected as Supervisor A.
The terms of the Ford Town Board are as follows:
Supervisor Position A/1 term (currently held by Ken Von Bank) will expire November 2012 and Supervisor will serve until the first Monday of January, 2013.
Supervisor Position B/2 term (currently held by Kim Johnson) will expire November 2010 and Supervisor will serve until the first Monday of January 2011.
Supervisor Position C/3 term (currently held by Doug Bassett) will expire November 2010 and Supervisor will serve until the first Monday of January 2011.
Clerk position (currently held by Sarah Berry) will expire November 2012 and Clerk will serve until the first Monday of January 2013.
Treasurer position (currently held by Edna Cole) will expire November 2010 and Treasurer will serve until the first Monday of January 2011.
